I've never met Jimmy Anton.  In fact, I have no idea what he looks like–but his social is legendary.  I stopped in this last Sunday and had so much fun that I can only say that Jimmy Anton's is fast becoming my favorite New York City Salsa Social.  If you are from out of town and really want to see the local scene, this should be your first stop.  Great floor, great ambiance, amazing dancers.   This outing there were more leaders than followers for the first hour or so, but by 7pm, it got closer to even and I would guess there were close to 200 dancers going strong.  Here's the info on that event…..I encourage you to make it a high priority.
