Who should come

Beginners who wants to learn Salsa. This course gives a foundation of movement for those who has no dance experience. Emphasis is to develop basic principles of timing, partnering skills, basic foot work and variations of turn patterns.

Why

Because NYSalsababy Dance Lessons are all about having fun! Partner dancing is the first step of social activity which connects one to another, builds confidence, improves personality, enhances social lives. We are here to dance and meet new friends.

How to find the organizer(s)

This is our last Beginner Intensive workshop in May before we hit "SALSA FLING" Spring Meetup & dance Social Party on May 17. So let's meetup, learn some moves and get ready for some spring flings and summer sizzles!

SALSA BEGINNER 5-WEEK INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS
Time: 6 - 7:30 pm (SATURDAY)
Location: Albee School of Dance - 232 Carroll Street, 2nd floor, Brooklyn
Dates: 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10
Drop-in Single class: $25 per person

The workshop gives a foundation of movement to Beginners who has very little or no dance experience. Emphasis is to develop basic principles of Salsa timing, partnering skills, basic foot work and variations of turn patterns. Each class is independent with 30 minutes of basic footwork drills before weekly add-ons. Newcomers and drop-ins welcome anytime.

Directions by car from Manhattan:
Take BROOKLYN Bridge to BQE West. Exit at ATLANTIC AVE.
Stay on Atlantic Avenue, then turn RIGHT at Court Street.
Once on Court Street, go 10-12 blocks until Carroll Street. Find street parking.

Directions by subway:
Take F or G train to CARROLL STREET/SMITH ST.
Once exit, stay on Carroll Street and walk one block WEST towards Court Street.
ALBEE SCHOOL of DANCE is located at 230 Carroll St (corner of Court St), Brooklyn.
