Beginner Styling Workshops, New York

So you've learned your Salsa Basics and you're comfortable with Salsa 2 Turn Patterns, yet you're not quite ready for Salsa 3 Intermediates…that's where "Beginner Shines, Styling & Spinning Workshop" fills the gap…learning mini-shine routines incorporating arm placements, hand styling, body rolls, hip movements to be used in open shines and partner work.

New shines & styling tips are introduced each week that combines into one big repertoire of shine & styling choreography by the 4th week. Both male and female students will also learn proper technique to execute multiple turns - solo or with partners - with weekly spinning drills.

Open to solid Salsa 1 beginners and Salsa 2 level students who wish to add flair and spice to their dancing. Each class is independent, so drop-ins are welcome!

Time: 7:00 - 8:00pm (THURSDAY) - drop-ins welcome
Drop-in single class $16; 4-classes for $55;

Guys, don't be shy! We need our leaders to lead us properly when it comes to spinning. We're doing most of the spinning work, but it takes 2 to make things perfect! And we love guys who can move and shine on the dance floor, too!
