A must to come New York Salsa Event. Every Tuesday Nigts in Salsa Gina at Lava Gina. It is a Classic salsa dancing night held at a classy retro lounge which specializes in world music.  Tuesday nights are for the On 2 dancers.

The place is a rather classy funky landmark lounge specializing in many kinds of music;  Tuesday nights are for the mambo dancers.  There will be lots of classic salsa music played by the DJs and there is a very easy-going socializing scene around the bar.

Almost entirely pure classic salsa plus a little cha cha, bachata & merengue played by DJ La Rumba plus guest DJs Rudy, David Montreal and Edwin.

Admission is free and the bar have a wide range of specialty drinks.  Earlier in the evening, 6:30 - 10:00 PM, tapas are served.  After 10:00 PM no food is served at Lava Gina but there is a casual restaurant next door where we can get food if hungry.
