The Salsa Salsa Dance Studio is now a well-established salsa school which is an active part of the Brooklyn mambo community.  Under partners Marcus Gonzalez and Jose Rivera, plus instructor Ray Colon and others, the studio has now expanded to include 2 locations.  Their students come from Brooklyn and elsewhere to participate in their classes and socials.  All dancers, students and more advanced dancers, are invited to the socials which feature a friendly welcoming environment and lots of good salsa dance music.  This is one of the "Brooklyn circle of salsa studios" which have grown very popular in the last several years spreading mambo On 2 throughout the borough.  The Bushwick Social gets about 30 - 60 people in attendance.

An On 2 mambo social held in a neighborhood salsa dance studio with 1 medium size room.  At the Bushwick studio, the crowd ranges from 30 to 75 dancers and at the Park Slope studio the crowd ranges from 40 to 100 dancers.  The size of the crowd depends on whether it's a regular social or a special event with several performances or other special attractions, and depending on whether there are many dancers from the wider mambo community attending the event.

The Music is Almost entirely pure classic salsa plus a little cha cha, bachata & merengue played by DJ Paul "Sabor" Rivera and DJ Marcus where people dance Almost entirely "New York On 2" timing and style wearing Casual dress.

Held at Bushwick studio - 888 Broadway (between Belvidere St. & Arion Place), a couple of blocks from Myrtle Avenue, Brookly, NY, 11206.

Park Slope studio - 55 Fourth Avenue (between Bergen & Dean Streets), Brooklyn, NY, 11217.
