Unlike most socials that are held in the evening or night time, Frank "Ritmo" Garcia invents the Saturday Matinee Social for those who want to be dancing during the afternoon.  A great opportunity for those who have other plans for the evening or those who want to get home early.

This social is held for the On 2 dancers and it may sometimes include performances, live music and giveaways. Held in a dance studio with a good wooden floor. Music is Classic salsa plus some cha cha played by DJ Frank "Ritmo" Garcia or guest DJs to be announced where they dance Mostly "New York On 2" timing and style in their Casual-Dress to sweat attire.

Held in Held at Ripley Grier Studios, 939 8th Avenue (between 55th and 56th Streets). Suite 307, walk up one flight to Room 4A, around 2:30 to 5:30 PM in the afternoon, this October 11,2008.
