Description:
Orquesta Canela is back in the US, making their stop here at SOBs. The band is composed of 14+ beautiful ladies who are unique in that they have an exclusive membership of only females. From the lead singer to conga player, everyone in the group is a woman.
The all-female band from Colombia, which was started twelve years ago by Maria Fernanda Munera (who began as the group's percussionist and now is its manager) features LP artists Alexandra Alban (congas), Elizabeth Delgado (timbales) and Anayanci Hoyos (bongos). The Columbian beauties have proven themselves to be much more than just pretty faces.
